BREAKING NEWS OUT OF CONGRESS: HILLARY PAID THEM OFF – FACING PRISON –
Hillary
Clinton thought she was finally out of the woods when it came to being
punished for the many crimes she has committed. Unfortunately for her,
however, she just learned she was dead wrong.
Freedom Daily
reported that Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) just revealed that the
investigation into Clinton’s email probe was anything but standard,
emails from FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe state the probe was coded
“HQ Special.”
“The Judiciary Committee is engaged in an
investigation, particularly as it relates to the handling of the Hillary
Clinton email scandal and any potential investigations of the Clinton
Foundation and the handling of bribes or other types of improper
payments,” Gaetz said while appearing on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom.”
Gaetz
went on to explain that Clinton received special treatment during the
email investigation as a consequence of her candidacy for president. The
congressman said that there is email evidence from McCabe indicating
that Clinton was going to get a “headquarter special,” which suggests
that normal FBI processes were not followed.
“I think we have to
ensure that never happens again, that the same processes that would
apply to any American would also apply to people who were running for
president of the United States,” Gaetz said.
He said that this is
why he’s calling for the Judiciary Committee to institute reforms for
more oversight and transparency at the FBI and Department of Justice.
“We
just want to follow the facts, we want to see if we’ve got the right
systems and processes in place for reporting and transparency, so that
the American people have confidence in the FBI and confidence in the
Department of Justice,” Gaetz said.
This comes after Attorney
General Jeff Sessions ordered Justice Department prosecutors to begin
asking FBI agents to explain the evidence they found in a now dormant
criminal investigation into a controversial uranium deal that has been
linked to Bill and Hillary Clinton.
NBC News
reported that a senior DOJ official explained that these interviews
with the FBI are part of the DOJ’s attempts to fulfill a promise an
assistant attorney general made to Congress last month to examine
whether a special counsel was warranted to look into what has become
known as the Uranium One deal.
The main issue here is a 2010 transaction in which Barack Obama’s administration allowed the U.S. to sell it’s uranium mining facilities
to Russia’s state atomic energy company. This was during Hillary’s time
as Secretary of State, and the State Department was one of nine
agencies that agreed to approve the deal after finding no threat to U.S.
national security.
A senior law enforcement official said
that there were allegations of corruption surrounding the process under
which the U.S. government approved the sale, but no charges were filed.
Things got fishy when it was revealed that many of the people involved
in the deal contributed millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation,
and that Bill was paid $500,000 for a Moscow speech by a Russian
investment bank with links to the transaction.
