DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals): What People Don’t Talk About

What do you hear people say when discussing DACA? Usually, that these kids were brought to the USA through no fault of their own, and how great they are. Well, not all of them are great; many have migrated into gangs and lawbreaking. What you don’t hear much about is that most of them are adults now, and that they were brought here without an invitation. So now the big question is, what do we do with them, and what might the consequences of those actions be?
1. Allow them to become naturalized citizens. This would allow them to sponsor their parents, (Chain-Migration), who created this problem in the first place, rewarding their bad behavior. They could also sponsor other family members setting a precedent for more illegal immigration,
2. Allow them to become resident aliens only. This would allow them to work in the USA, but not sponsor any family members. But has the United States ever allowed immigrants to stay and not allowed them to eventually become citizens? You know there would be a huge outcry from liberals to make them citizens. Because of that, I don’t think this is a viable solution.
3. Deport them to their country of origin. Yes, there would be a huge outcry, mainly from liberals, but do we really have an obligation to allow them to stay? Take your feelings out of it. We would not be deporting children, and after all they have benefitted from opportunities in the USA that they probably wouldn’t have had in the home countries. I say deport all the “Dreamers” and their parents back to their home countries, and let them put their education to use there. This would put the world “on notice” that the United States will not accept illegal immigration under any circumstances.
