#WalkAway Campaign Goes To Harlem To Unveil Majority Democratic Residents’ Thoughts On Politics

Brandon Straka, the openly gay former Democrat behind the recent movement to #Walkaway from liberalism hit the streets of Harlem to talk politics with residents.

Many of the people he talked to told him on camera that they were Democrats, but admitted their community is struggling despite the promises from the politicians they voted for.
The #WalkAway Campaign is hosting two events this week in New York City. According to Straka, the events are town-hall-style discussions geared toward racial minority communities. (RELATED: #Walkaway Founder: ‘More and More People Are Starting to Wake Up’.)
