This was a set-up
Does anybody else feel like we’re living through a season of “24?”
I sure do.
And the more this latest Russia story unfolds, the more I think Donald Trump Jr. was the unwitting dupe of a carefully-planned set-up to ensnare his father.
We all know that the Clinton campaign was the progenitor of the so-called “Russia Conspiracy.”
And after having read through the Podesta emails last fall, I have no problem believing the Clinton team – and even those in the Obama White House — would try to lead the Trump campaign into a set-up.
In other words, I do think there’s a conspiracy here. But it isn’t the conspiracy the Democrats and Enslaved Press have been perpetrating.
This entire Russia narrative was a set-up to ensnare Donald Trump and destroy him.
And here’s the problem both the Enslaved Press and the Democrats have.
There are real journalists out there doing the actual investigating.
And what they’re turning up is uncovering the malfeasance all right. But it is malfeasance on the part of the Obama White House and the Clinton campaign.
First, you have the leaks.
Within the White House, Obama hold-overs are carefully funneling intel to their good friend Ben Rhodes.
And good old Ben is then passing that intel along to his allies in the news media.
Yesterday, the Washington Free Beacon revealed that Congressman Ron DeSantis has named Rhodes as the primary source of these White House Leaks.
And, because I don’t mind saying, “I told you so,” let me remind you that I called that in early April in a column titled Trust me: Rhode is the Leaker.
We also now know that the entire “Russia hacked the election to defeat Hillary” narrative was created out of whole cloth by Robby Mook and John Podesta 24 hours after Hillary lost.
And how did they know this narrative would be effective?
Well, the only way they could know that is if they had been carefully planting the seeds during the campaign.
And I think Don Jr.’s meeting last June was one of those seeds.
In other words, it was a set-up from start-to-finish.
Take this Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya.
Jack Posobiec revealed some of Natalia’s Facebook posts today.
He tweeted out this screen capture of a photo Natalia took at an Anti-Trump rally outside of Trump Tower in January.
I went onto the archive of Veselnitskaya’s Facebook page and found this picture:
Yeah, here’s a woman who would want to collude with the Trump campaign.
Come on.
This was a freaking set-up.
Turns out, she was a honey-trap. But not for Putin.
Instead, she was a honey-trap for the Obama Administration and the Clinton campaign.
But it gets even more interesting.
Over at The Conservative Treehouse, we discover that just days after this 20-minute meeting with Don Jr., Veselnitskaya attended a House hearing where she was seated directly behind Obama’s Russia Ambassador Michael McFaul.

It should be noted that Ambassador McFaul was very publicly discussing the ‘Muh Russia’ conspiracy narrative in the media and appeared on numerous NBC and MSNBC broadcasts during the 2016 campaign, and immediately after the election.But that’s not all.
Initially, Veselnitskaya couldn’t get a US visa. But she managed to get special permission to enter the United States. [hat tip Circa]
And it gets even more interesting.
Veselnitskaya is also linked to the group that fabricated the now-infamous “Trump Russian Dossier.” [Hat tip the UK Independent]
It’s worth reading Sundance’s entire post on this. Because the connections between this anti-Trump Russian attorney and Obama’s people are far too involved to simply be a coincidence.
All of this stinks to high heaven.
And I can only conclude that this entire Russia thing was a set-up from the very beginning.
I’m telling you. If any colluding was taking place, it was between the Obama Administration, the DNC and cooperative Russian actors.
But here’s the thing.
The media is so hell-bent on destroying Donald Trump that they’ve become myopic.
And in their myopia, they haven’t considered the fall-out for their side by opening this can of worms.
If the only people acting as “investigative journalists” worked with the corporate media, this wouldn’t be a problem for them.
But alas for the Fake News, there are plenty of investigative journalists willing and able to dig for the truth.
And the truth is coming out.
This was a set-up. The entire “RussiaGate” conspiracy was carefully planned and coordinated by anti-Trump zealots within the DNC, the Clinton campaign and the Obama White House.
And the Enslaved Press — in their never-ending quest to destroy the President — may have just opened a Pandora’s box that will expose this insidious collusion.
