Can you imagine...

Can you imagine...
playing any game at all against a superior opponent. Your hopes of victory are somewhere between slim and none. SO...you propose to change rules so that, at the very least, you have a strong chance of winning. Your opponent looks aghast at you, saying..."These rules have been in effect for decades. Why would we consider changing them?" And you say..."Because We want to win...and we cannot under the rules, so, we need to change them."

This is exactly the argument put forth by democrats regarding the filibuster. They want HR1/SR1 and they cannot pass it because of the filibuster. Why would anyone accept changing the rules in order to pass One Party legislation? IMHO...ALL legislation...Senate AND House, should need 60% support in order to be made into law.
What say you?
