Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and beliefs..... especially that of the 1st and 2nd Amendment of the Constitution.
When others begin to force their opinions upon others... and political
leaders begin to pass laws infringing upon the rights of others for the
sake of a protesting minority..... the majority begins to lose a portion
of their unalienable right as given by the Constitution of the United
States.
And now we have the protection of the 1st Amendment to force changes in the 2nd.
We can not judge and compare ourselves to other countries.... for we are like no other.
Tho' advanced in technology beyond countries of a thousand years or so.... we are still young in our sense of Freedom, Independence... and Patriotism.... and it is not easy to let go of just a fraction of any. To force the loss, or a portion thereof, would only lead to further and major grievances..... and tho' it has been over 200 years.... the word "revolution" is on the lips of many. A frightening thought indeed. And to think members of our own military would fire upon their own people.... you better think again.
Let us not forget millions flooded our shores seeking Independence and Freedom..... that which was lost in the very countries they fled from.... that which was taken from them by the rich and powerful who wanted to control the masses. And once again we see this very same thing now occurring within the shores of our own country.
Gun control opinions have now become demands of the minority of which there are signs of political parties beginning to weaken under these demands of control. And yet these parties refuse to look at the failure of strict gun control laws in several major cities..... and blind to this fact, they are under a false illusion that these gun control laws will work for an entire Nation. The majority of the masses are still too sensitive to give in to these controls based upon the very nature of our history. Sensitive enough to fear the outcome of giving up our legal right to bear arms.
The government can't even control the drug problem.... and they are illegal. And yet drugs kill far more than guns do.
There is no respect left for the entitlement to opinion, when it comes to gun control for the minority, and some politicians now take the stance..... "You can agree with us.... or you can be wrong."
Well.... I don't agree with you.... and I am not wrong.
I have made my stand....
