Fascism does not require racism.

Fascism does not require racism.

Oh, one can be a racist fascist. And, one can be a non-racist fascist.
The core of fascism is not about race. It’s about government control over privately owned businesses and other forms of private property.
If you feel it’s proper for business owners and other property owners to hold a legal title to their property AND for government to command how business owners run their businesses and how other property owners use their property, then you’re a fascist.
Quite literally.
Some of you, right now, are thinking to yourselves: “Wait, that means millions of progressive Americans are actually fascists because they feel that government should command and control businesses and other forms of property that belong to other people!”
And, you’re right.
In point of historical fact, the body of ideas that became fascism emerged from the social sciences that created progressivism. Fascism is but a variety of progressivism.
Now, you go have a nice day and, when you hurl the term “fascist” at others, be accurate in how you use it.
