If the President's "free" Community College plan is "free" then why does he need a 320 billion dollar tax-hike to pay for it?
If the President's 320 billion tax hike is going to benefit working Americans then why are middle-class incomes shrinking despite his previous tax hikes?
If the President's 320 billion dollar tax hike on banks and retirement
plans is designed to tax banks then has he bothered to ask where the
money in the banks comes from?
This is the fatal flaw of liberalism. Many liberals care a great deal about the future but being liberal requires no deeper analysis other than that a policy "sounds good" or "feels good." Taxing the rich and the banks to give to the poor and middle-class sounds good to them, and it's easy to understand why, but the problem is that the results of these policies are ruinous.
Being an economic Conservative is not easy because it requires the truth, and the truth can be painful to hear. But, being responsible is more important than being "liked."
