Regulated

Regulated

That phrase, “well-regulated,” they keep using it...
It does not mean what they think it means.

The Oxford English Dictionary definition of "Regulated" from the time of the American Revolution addresses military proficiency with arms, a definition that has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with legislated regulations restricting, limiting, controlling, nor licenses, permits or fees, ad nauseam.

Our Constitution guarantees the right of the People to keep and near arms shall not be infringed, but what are all such legislative regulations but infringements? All are unconstitutional, and we all know damn-well the Left will not be satisfied until we are all completely disarmed.

If politicians are permitted to infringe upon the second amendment, what’s to stop them from abridging or infringing upon the rest?

Infringe: An encroachment or trespass on a right or privilege. The encroachment, breach, or violation of a right, law, regulation, or contract.
(Merriam-Webster's)

Regulated: From the time of the Revolution (b) "Of troops: Properly disciplined" and then "discipline" has a definition (3b) applying to the military, "Training in the practice of arms and military evolutions; drill. Formerly, more widely: Training or skill in military affairs generally; military skill and experience; the art of war."
(Oxford English Dictionary)
