Michelle Running Campaign To Ban ‘Offensive’ Word From English Language
Well apparently, Michelle Obama is not done campaigning yet. It appears that she has decided to stan behind a campaign that is hoping to ban the word “bossy.”
FLOTUS announced Michelle’s support for the campaign, which has been receiving national media attention after being backed by stars like Beyonce. Ironically, Beyonce finds the word “bossy” more offensive than “bitches”, which her husband frequently uses in his lyrics.
Critics of the First Lady claim that her support of the banning of the word is akin to 1984.
“Girls are less interested in leadership than boys and that’s because they worry about being called bossy,” the campaign video claims. According to the movement, the solution is to ban the word from our language entirely.
The video has already received numerous backlash for attempting to set a dangerous precedent of banning words, which some view as a restriction on free speech. Further, critics argue that the campaign is designed by liberals to “fix non-issues.”
