Watch Dick Durbin Get Exposed After Calling Trump Racist

After an immigration meeting on Wednesday, Sen. Dick Durbin claimed that President Donald Trump had made comments referring to Haiti and African countries as ‘sh**hole’ countries. Two other senators at the meeting claimed that they didn’t recall hearing such comments.
Chain migration is “the process by which one immigrant is admitted to the country, then he or she sponsors relatives back home to come to the U.S., who in turn could sponsor more relatives,” according to Time.
Trump is pushing to end the policy.
The term has been used by the government for years, long before Trump was president. It is not racist in any way.
But you wouldn’t know that from the comments of Dick Durbin.
From Daily Wire:
On Friday, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) claimed that he rebuked President Trump when he used the term “chain migration” during his bipartisan meeting on Wednesday:
When it came to the issue of “chain migration,” I said to the president: “Do you realize how painful that term is to so many people? African Americans believe that they migrated to America in chains, and when you speak about chain migration, it hurts them personally.” He said: “Oh, that’s a good line.”
He seemed almost to be close to crying, he wanted to convey how much he found the term offensive and racist. And, of course, he seemed to suggest that the term was one pulled out of the air by Trump because he was racist.
Yet, Durbin himself used the term during the same meeting, at 33:52.
We have a deadline looming and a lot of lives hanging. We can agree on some very fundamental and important things together on border security, on chain, on the future of diversity visas…

And he’d used the term on his website in the past. An October 2007 press release from Durbin’s own official website supporting the DREAM Act uses the same ‘chain migration’ term. The release claims, falsely, that the DREAM Act wouldn’t lead to chain migration and that the Dreamers would have very limited ability to sponsor any family members. Durbin also has another column on his site by Kristen Hare that utilizes the term
Finally, he even used the term live on the Senate floor on video when he tried to make the same argument that the DREAM Act wouldn’t lead to chain migration.
So if he had no problem using the term, even live on the Senate floor, why is he making such a crying statement about how offensive it is to use it when it comes to Trump?
Because it isn’t about the term. It’s about using it to club Trump.
How dishonest is this?
And this is the person who wants people to accept what he says about Trump?
How about no?
