Republicans Are Out-Voting Democrats In Early Voting

Republicans Are Out-Voting Democrats In Early Voting

Hannah Bleau We previously told you about the new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll, which suggests that people want Democrats to control the House more than Republicans.
In the poll, 50 percent of likely voters prefer Democrat to control Congress after the November elections, versus 41 percent who want Republicans to stay in charge — up 1 point from Democrats’ lead in the September NBC/WSJ survey.
An important thing to note: This poll doesn’t necessarily reflect individual congressional races. As I stated before, it’s literally just asking people, “Hey. You want Dems controlling the House or nah?” So I’m not getting TOO worried. Especially now that I’m seeing this:
NBC reports:
Is the “blue wave” turning purple?
Republican-affiliated voters have outpaced Democratic-affiliated voters in early voting in seven closely watched states, according to data provided by TargetSmart and independently analyzed by the NBC News Data Analytics Lab.
Does this mean Republicans are MORE energized? That’s certainly what it sounds like.
Imagine how much of a mass freakout we’ll see if Democrats fail to take control of the House. Oh man. Pelosi would FLIP! PLEASE– let’s make that happen!
