Barr Makes Move On Obama-Hillary Deep State
Supporters of POTUS Donald Trump, long exasperated by a lack of action taken against deep state conspirators who sought to depose him on instructions from former President Obama, have had their faith in the justice system rejuvenated thanks to Attorney General William Barr.
As he indicated he would in previous testimony before Congress, the AG has tasked key Justice Department prosecutors and investigators with unveiling the genesis of the Spygate scandal — how it began, why it began, where it began, and, importantly, who was behind it.
As Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz finalizes a report stemming from his long-running investigation into a series of Obama-era scandals involving the DoJ, the FBI, and two-time presidential loser Hillary Clinton, Barr has assigned Connecticut-based U.S. Attorney John Durham, a corruption specialist, “to examine the origins of the Russia investigation,” Fox News reported Tuesday, adding that Durham has already been on the case “for weeks.”

The news site reported further:
Durham, known as a “hard-charging, bulldog” prosecutor, according to a source, will focus on the period before Nov. 7, 2016—including the use and assignments of FBI informants, as well as alleged improper issuance of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants. Durham was asked to help Barr to “ensure that intelligence collection activities by the U.S. Government related to the Trump 2016 Presidential Campaign were lawful and appropriate.”
Barr has asked Durham to examine the probe into allegations of misconduct and abuse of power by the government under Obama for improperly spying on the 2016 Trump campaign, in part by defrauding the FISA court with the bogus “Steele Dossier” Comey and his FBI knew was suspect. (Related: Comey’s FBI knew “Steele dossier” was BOGUS before using it to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on Team Trump.)
But that’s not all.
Not only has Barr tasked a corruption expert with finding out whether or how the Obama regime broke rules (and the law) to spy on Team Trump, but he’s working “collaboratively” with FBI Director Christopher Wray, CIA Director Gina Haspel, and Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats to get to the bottom of things.
Additionally, Durham is working with IG Horowitz’s office “who is currently reviewing allegations of misconduct in issuance of FISA warrants, and the role of FBI informants during the early stages of the investigation,” Fox News reported.
For his part, POTUS Trump had words of praise for Barr and his actions. “think it’s a great thing that he did it,” Trump told reporters at the White House Tuesday. “I am so proud of our attorney general that he’s looking into it.”
During congressional testimony last month, Barr told lawmakers he was reviewing the FBI’s “conduct” regarding the initial ‘Russian collusion’ investigation.
“I am reviewing the conduct of the investigation and trying to get my arms around the aspects of the counterintelligence investigation that was conducted in the summer of 2016,” he said April 9.
Fox News learned the same day that Barr had put together a “team” to look into the origins of the investigation.
In December, as POTUS Trump was considering whether to nominate Barr to the AG’s post after he asked for the resignation of Jeff Sessions, The Hill’s John Solomon reported that House Republicans were pressing the president to declassify a raft of documents related to the Russia probe:
Sources tell me the targeted documents may provide the most damning evidence to date of potential abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), evidence that has been kept from the majority of members of Congress for more than two years.
Solomon went on to report the emails involve Comey, lawyers from the DoJ’s national security division, and key FBI investigators involved in the collusion probe.
It’s time the guilty were made to answer for their sedition.
