Obama gave Dolores Huerta, an honorary chairperson of the DSA a Presidential Medal of Freedom. This is the highest honor that can be given to a civilian.
Huerta has been in prison over twenty times for protests. Her views:

1. She believes in distribution of wealth.
2. That the USA was behind 9/11.
3. She says the war on terror is a war on immigrants.
4. Republicans hate Latinos.

This is how the DSA describes themselves::
Our "policies require the support of a majoritarian coalition of trade unionists, people of color, feminists, gays and lesbians and all other peoples committed to democratic change" in order to begin "transforming the power relations of global capitalism."
Rush Limbaugh says giving her this award renders it useless -- a political award and nothing more.
Obama's ties to socialism are plenty.

Obama chooses a campaign slogan for 2012 "Forward" that has a Communist meaning. (Source).
