Netanyahu to Obama: Go jump in the Potomac River

After preaching about staying out of the internal politics of Israel and then allegedly dispatching his supporters and political “hit squad,” President Barack Obama’s scheme to oust Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin “BiBi” Netanyahu has proven to be a failure. And Netanyahu, upon making his first statement following his nation’s elections, looked into the television cameras and stated plainly that he will not allow the creation of a Palestinian state, one of Obama’s pet projects, according to news reports on Wednesday.
After feigning silence on the Israeli political campaigns and accusing Netanyahu of politicizing the Iranian nuclear negotiations, Obama and his minions — as well as his sycophants in the legacy media — reacted to Netanyahu’s victory with criticism and claiming it’s Netanyahu’s fault for souring U.S. and Israeli relations especially over issues such as Palestinian statehood and negotiations with Iranian leaders.
“Basically, Netanyahu is telling Obama, Kerry and their cheerleaders that they can all go jump into the Potomac River,” said former police special operations officer, Stanley Rodgers, who has studied counterterrorism in Israel. “There is no way he will allow a Palestinian-run country to exist within a grenade’s throw of Israel. BiBi is a former warrior who faces a political hack from Chicago who tried to ‘run a game’ on him and lost.”
During the daily White House press briefing on Wednesday, Press Secretary Josh Earnest claimed Obama still believes in a two-state solution. Earnest appeared to be unaware or ignoring Netanyahu’s statement that he would not allow the creation of a Palestinian state. BiBi supporters have said the Palestinians already have a state of their own — it’s called the Gaza Strip and it’s run by Islamists such as Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ).
Earnest slammed Netanyahu’s Likud Party — often calling it a far right party –by claiming the Obama White House was upset over the divisive language emanating from Israeli leaders. Earnest complained that the Likud Party is attempting to minimize the power of Israel’s minority Arabs. “These are views the administration intends to convey directly to the Israelis,” Earnest said during his briefing.
What Earnest didn’t mention is that The Jewish-Arab Hadash Party is a radical left party that calls for Palestinians’ right of return. It would result in Israel no longer having a Jewish majority. In fact, Netanyahu warned that left-wing organizations and foreign governments were attempting to influence the election by busing Arabs to the polls.
“This is another attempt to discredit Israel by Obama’s minions,” said political strategist Mike Baker. “What are the Israelis supposed to do? Allow an Arab majority in Israel who would vote for Islamic radicals as they’ve done in Palestinian elections? If the Arabs take over the government through the ballot box, then Israel will no longer be Israel.” Baler believes that “Obama is not a respecter of borders to begin with. Just look at the U.S.-Mexican border. He wants to fundamentally change America and one suspects he wishes to fundamentally change Israel, as well.”
The comments suggest there is likely to be no thaw in the chilly relationship between Netanyahu’s administration and the White House. Netanyahu’s Likud won a major victory on Tuesday, leaving him poised to secure a third consecutive term as prime minister.
Meanwhile, Secretary of State John Kerry is anxiously trying to make a deal with Iran by the end of March. Kerry is no supporter of Israel accusing the Jewish State of practicing apartheid and complaining that the Israelis are not being diplomatic towards the Palestinian National Authority and are interfering with U.S.-Iranian negotiations.
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who is considering a run for president, told Fox News on Wednesday that Netanyahu has a clear “mandate” and argued this is good not only for the U.S. but also other Middle Eastern countries — Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and other Arab nations — worried about an Iran with nuclear weapons. “The worst thing that can happen is to trust Iran,” Huckabee said.
Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, who also is flirting with another Republican presidential bid, likewise said in a statement Wednesday that, “It is my great hope that our next President will be able to stand side-by-side with Israel and Prime Minister Netanyahu” to “defeat this Radical Islamist enemy and ensure Iran never develops a nuclear weapon.”
