ALERT: Pentagon’s HUGE Admission Could Reveal What “Martial Law” Exercises Are Really About

If the Pentagon is trying to allay fears over its massive Jade Helm 15 exercises, they certainly aren’t doing a very good job of it.
A recently released group of documents from the Department of Defense indicated that they’ve been preparing for “mass civil breakdown” for the better part of a decade now, which could explain the controversial “martial law” exercises the Obama administration is currently undertaking.

The Pentagon project — called the Minerva Research Initiative — was begun shortly after the banking crisis of 2008 with the “overarching authority of a number of U.S. military agencies.”
The documents reveal that the Pentagon has been funding university studies to model possible patterns of civil unrest in the United States, including the “dynamics, risks and tipping points” that would precipitate such mass social breakdown.
According to the Pentagon, the university studies were meant “to improve DoD’s basic understanding of the social, cultural, behavioral, and political forces that shape regions of the world of strategic importance to the U.S.”
The program, which has cost millions of dollars thus far, has studied unrest around the world and developed “warfighter-relevant insights.”
One specific Cornell University study developed a specific model “of the dynamics of social movement mobilization and contagions.” (H/T Right Wing News)
All this has become particularly relevant in light of Jade Helm 15.
Jade Helm 15, a massive military exercise taking place from June 15 to Sept. 15, has been called by many a precursor to martial law. The exercise, scheduled to take place in seven Southwestern states, involves labeling certain states as “hostile” territory and has troops blending in with everyday citizens.
It’s also been surrounded by secrecy, which has led to a spate of conspiracy theories that have included Walmart closings and foreign occupation, among others.
Rep. Louis Gohmert, R-Texas, also expressed concern about considering American states “hostile,” as well as which states were designated as such.
“In military science classes or in my years on active duty, I have participated in or observed military exercises; however, we never named an existing city or state as a ‘hostile,’” Rep. Gohmert wrote in a letter to his constituents. “We would use fictitious names before we would do such a thing.”
“Once I observed the map depicting ‘hostile,’ ‘permissive,’ and ‘uncertain’ states and locations, I was rather appalled that the hostile areas amazingly have a Republican majority, ‘cling to their guns and religion,’ and believe in the sanctity of the United States Constitution,” Gohmert said, noting they were all red states.
Whatever the case, one thing’s for certain: the opposition to Jade Helm 15 is just warming up.
