Detroit Police Chief Issues Chilling Warning About Democrat-Run City, Says It’s So Dangerous He Won’t Even…

The city of Detroit was once a shining example of American exceptionalism, but decades of Democrat rule have reduced the city to a bankrupt and dangerous shell of its former self.
The city has gotten so dangerous that Detroit Police Chief James Craig has called on the good citizens of Detroit to arm themselves and shoot back at criminals, as his force is simply unable to protect and serve everyone.

Recently, there has been a string of robberies, carjackings and murders that have taken place at gas stations in and around Detroit, making the simple act of pumping gas literally a life-and-death situation.
During a recent press conference about the gas station robberies, Chief Craig admitted that he himself would prefer not to pump gas in the city, particularly at night, and warned residents to consider the same.
“I wouldn’t, but if I had to, I would,” Craig said. “But I’d probably be very aware of my surroundings.”

According to The Detroit News, Craig clarified his statement the next day, saying he wasn’t implying that all Detroit gas stations are unsafe, but merely encouraging his constituents to take due precautions when stopping to pump gas, such as choosing well-lit stations and avoiding areas where people loiter.
Craig and his department have been cracking down on carjackings at gas stations this year, with noticeable results, but the level of crime is still quite high.
In truth, the chief’s wise advice applies in all major cities, not just Detroit. People should always be aware of their surroundings, especially when in a vulnerable position such as pumping gas.
And avail yourselves of your God-given right to self-defense, because the good guys won’t always be there to help.
