Photos Leaked of Iranian Officials Who John Kerry Secretly Met — One Has Been IDENTIFIED
But it may have had the opposite effect, contributing to the decision ultimately to scrap the deal.
Kerry was chastised by many for holding shadowy foreign policy that he had no right and no portfolio to do and Trump told him to cut it out. Many also mentioned that Kerry was violating the Logan Act, a law that prohibits exactly what Kerry was doing.
But on Saturday, Kerry was caught in Paris still meeting with the Iranians, even after the deal was scrapped.
Kerry was caught in Paris in a meeting with 3 Iranians by a former communications strategist for Trump, Jason Osbourne, who happened upon them in a cafe.“So John Kerry just left a meeting @ L’Avenue in Paris w/3 Iranians. A friend was sitting next to their table and heard JK blasting @realDonaldTrump. The Iranians had a 5 person security detail and left in diplomatic vehicles. Is he FARA registered?”
And the Iranians confirmed their meetings with Kerry in an infuriating response.
An Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman confirmed the meetings after the Boston Globe broke the news, declaring, “We don’t see the U.S. just as Mr. Trump; the United States is not just the current ruling administration.” Think about what this means. Iran is a terrorist state responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Americans in Iraq, whose leaders hold rallies where thousands chant “Death to America!” Kerry was working with a sworn enemy of the United States to try to undermine the foreign policy of the elected president of the United States.Jack Osborne posted the pictures of the men with whom Kerry allegedly met.
I thought we didn’t like Americans who colluded with our enemies.
Kerry’s meetings with Iran’s leaders were not isolated incidents, but part of a formal lobbying campaign that included phone calls with European Union leaders and meetings with the presidents of Germany and France in which, the Globe reports, he discussed “the details of sanctions and regional nuclear threats in both French and English.”
After Obsborne posted the pictures on social media, Iranian human rights activists identified at least one of them.
Heshmat Alavi who is a human rights activist who writes for Forbes and Al Arabiya also noted that the regime is denying that Kamal Kharazi met with Kerry, which makes him even more suspicious about the meeting.
This isn’t the first time that Kerry has had shady meetings in Paris with enemies of the United States, he also met with the North Vietnamese there as a private citizen when Secretary of State Henry Kissinger was trying to negotiate with them.
