Rewarding Bad Behavior – ISIS Does It With 72 Virgins, Obama Has His Own Similar Methods

In an interview last week, Lt Col Ralph Peters raised an interesting point regarding the recruitment methods of ISIS and its attraction. He noted that it is not merely the poor and disadvantaged who choose to go the terrorist route but often the people who “have a sense of not being recognized for their ‘magnificent value’” that are choosing to join in terrorism. He noted that these are frequently the “more entitled-feeling, failed kids of the middle class or upper middle class.”
He then laid out the true attraction, the method of justification and rationalization which substitutes a set of artificial and immoral values for we all understand as the difference between right and wrong.

He said, “We’re telling these kids, especially the jail bird converts, ‘hey, you can get a job flipping burgers, you can get a job at Wal-Mart and Islamic State is telling them, ‘Allah wants, Allah will give you permission to torture, to kill, to rape, to enslave and if anything happens to you, you get to go to paradise and get 72 virgins. That’s a good deal.”

Peters is on to something. What he described was the epitome of rewarding bad behavior. The most vile and evil acts, under their new distorted set of rules to live by, are the key to “eternal happiness.”Consider what is taking place in the United States and a similar thread begins to show itself. On a multitude of levels, the federal government is also engaged in a program of rewarding bad behavior. The breaking of United States laws, by foreign nationals and by its own agencies, if conducted in an approved manner, is being embraced and encouraged.

Violating immigration law is not only not punished, it is encouraged and those who perpetrate it are rewarded with residency. Those within the federal government who enable the lawbreaking are not sanctioned or fired, they are promoted or recognized for the “great job they’re doing.”

Those who violate the Constitution, such as the members of the executive branch, are allowed to do so, reaping whatever benefit they initially sought, such as illegal voters, which has the effect of rewarding themselves with more power for their lawlessness.

Voter registration laws are flouted by the very Department of Justice which is charged with enforcing them. States which recognize the federal misconduct are thwarted in their efforts to protect their citizens, whether through protecting the sanctity of the ballot, our borders or our culture and society.
The rioting mobs in Baltimore, Ferguson and elsewhere are being accommodated by the complicit federal government in the granting of their demands, restrictions being placed upon those police who would force them into civil order, and through financial favors and compensation for their anarchy and lawbreaking through the deep-pocketed federal treasury.
Murderous terrorists in Gitmo are released in the interest of keeping campaign promises or to suit other nefarious objectives, placing a political commitment in higher regard and position than serving justice and their rightfully being held accountable for killing Americans and terrorist acts against our nation.
Federal agencies, such as the infamous IRS, EPA, BLM and others are used to target individual American citizens and groups with impunity, creating their own reward system through the elimination of accountability and penalties for governmental misconduct.
The similarities between the domestic terrorism of segments of the hijacked United States government and the Middle East Jihadists are striking. It reinforces what many patriotic Americans have long ago determined to be the case, that our nation is being run by our own version of Al-Qaeda, that our federal government is already behaving as a terrorist organization and the trend is unmistakably towards more authoritarianism, not away from it.
American government has lost its moral compass and traditional Judeo-Christian values have been replaced with excuses and new definitions and new, perverse and lowered standards, just as permission for atrocities are granted to the ISIS recruits.
It’s only a matter of time, if we continue on this path, before similar license will be introduced through the ranks of our new, national ObamaCOPS in the name of “domestic security,” the new definition of tyranny. We have arrived at 1984, and evil is being redefined.
