The Sad, Heartbreaking and Pathetic Truth
By Neal Boortz
Here’s
the facts … Obama knew that the consulate in Benghazi was under attack.
HE KNEW. What’s more, he knew for almost five hours of the seven-hour
attack. HE KNEW, and he did nothing. NOTHING. There were several
options available to him to get military resources into the fray .. from
Sicily, from Tripoli, from Spain, from two Destroyers offshore. His
Ambassador was missing. He KNEW this. He did nothing. He sat there
and worried about his reelection. He was more concerned about his
reelection chances than he was about the life of his Ambassador in
Libya. He turned the reaction to the Benghazi attack over to his
campaign staff rather than his security staff, and his campaign staff
devised a response … not to retaliate against those attacking our
consulate … but to attack Mitt Romney. This is Obama’s world. Islamic
terrorists attack and kill an American Ambassador and three other
Americans, and you respond by attacking your political opponent here at
home. This you can do because you know you will have the press covering
for you. You set the tone .. you send the message .. and the Obama
will pick right up on it.
Americans died in Libya while Obama was worrying about reelection. That is the sad, heartbreaking and pathetic truth.
