Few believed it when I explained to many, since the revelation of the ACORN voter registration scandal of 2008, the reason they registered all those bogus and fraudulent voter registrations. It's easy, by using (abusing) the privilege of casting absentee ballots, they can easily submit absentee ballots for all those fictitious voters they registered.
This is exactly what is alleged against as community organizer in Ohio who is facing prosecution for voter fraud. The women admits to casting her own ballot twice, once by absentee ballot and the second time on election day. She also allegedly cast absentee ballots for six other voters, living at her address, that submitted absentee ballots filled out in her own handwriting. Apparently, she voted EIGHT times in the election for Barack Obama in Ohio.

Melowese Richardson, a community organizer and long time Democrat activist in Hamilton County, Ohio is being prosecuted for voting more than once. Her granddaughter allegedly cast two more ballots, one of them an absentee ballot Richardson sent it. There are are four more votes cast by absentee ballot for individuals sharing the same residential address as Richardson.
The board of elections in Hamilton County is looking into 19 other cases of similar voter fraud as that alleged against Melowese Richardson.
When anyone can submit a voter registration card for any voter, and those voters are entered into the system as legitimate voters, then it is possible for someone like Richardson to then actually cast votes for them quite easily via the absentee vote system. That is why some counties in several key swing states, including Ohio, Pennsylvania, and other have more voters registered than there are eligible voters living in those counties. Voter registrations aren't just process to pad the voter registration stats. They are submitted as a way to stuff the ballot boxes with bogus votes of people who do not exist.
It's easy in many states. I could do as the ACORN workers did, submit a voter registration for someone who doesn't exist, at an address the does exist, maybe even my own address. And then I could pick up an absentee ballot and vote for that non-existent person. Then I will have voted twice, and it's illegal and I will have broken the law. But under the current system, where voters are not asked for an ID in most states, especially for absentee votes, I can vote twice, 12 times, maybe 100 times without getting caught in states like Ohio and Pennsylvania. In Ohio alone, the president might have had the benefit of at least 300,000 or more such fraudulent votes.
My web site on voter fraud, called BarackOFraudo.com, notes that Obama won Ohio by just over 103,000 votes which is far less than the likely 300,000 fraudulent votes, including the extra seven votes allegedly cast by Melowese Richardson in Hamilton County.
Just more proof of what we know, that the 2012 election was stolen, wholesale, by the Obama Regime.
