President Nixon had to resign the presidency because he used the agencies of the U.S. government to attack and spy on his political opposition.  He almost was not caught.  He almost skated by with saying he was not aware of the break-in at Watergate, the Democratic headquarters.  It was only because of two determined investigative reporters, Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, that the truth came to light and Nixon was implicated.
Former CBS investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson just released a book in which she outlines her fight against the leadership of the mainstream media and the Obama administration while she tried to get to the truth behind the myriad of scandals emanating from the Obama administration, especially the Fast and Furious scandal.

Attkisson alleges that not only did the Obama administration spied on her, but they also planted classified documents on her computer in order to lay the groundwork for charges against her–most likely to halt the reporting she was doing on sensitive subjects.  “This is outrageous. Worse than anything Nixon ever did. I wouldn’t have believed something like this could happen in the United States of America,” Attkisson says in her book. The New York Post says she goes on to say, “The intruders discovered my Skype account handle, stole the password, activated the audio, and made heavy use of it, presumably as a listening tool,” she wrote in “Stonewalled: My Fight for Truth Against the Forces of Obstruction, Intimidation, and Harassment in Obama’s Washington.”
What do we as ordinary Americans have to do for our separate but equal branches of government to call these gangsters on their you know what?  It is quite obvious the White House political operation was involved.  There is just too much circumstantial evidence to this fact.
Eric Holder filing charges against James Rosen, the IRS scandal, and other instances of abuse of power from this administration are numerous. I learned a long time ago that if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, and looks like a duck, it’s a @#$%%^&& duck!
Even the venerable Bob Woodward said over the weekend on the Sunday talk shows that if he was younger, he would get to the bottom of the IRS scandal.  Freedom of the press is a value we used to take very seriously in this country.  Even if the Obama administration goes away in a couple years in favor of a freedom-loving conservative presidency, we should continue to investigate to the ends of the earth the abuses of the Obama presidency.  Otherwise, the rule of law and American exceptionalism will be gone forever.
