18129316_sFerguson, Missouri has had a spotlight shown on it for several months now.
Before a grand jury even handed down a decision on officer Darren Wilson, the Governor had declared a state of emergency for the town.
In light of all the agitation, residents of the town have begun to buy the one thing they know they need: Guns.
A gun store owner in a nearby town said guns have been flying off the shelves.
The Washington Post reports:
These people are afraid, said Steve King, the owner of Metro Shooting Supplies in nearby Bridgeton. King says his store typically sells 30 to 40 firearms a week. This week, it has sold 250. ‘One hundred percent of them are buying because of Ferguson.’
Even law enforcement in the area is encouraging residents to buy weapons because the police won’t be able to do anything to protect them.
Someone who is presumed to be a cop in Ferguson wrote this on an online forum:
If you do not have a gun, get one and get one soon. We will not be able to protect you or your family,” he wrote. “It will be your responsibility to protect them. Our gutless commanders and politicians have neutered us. I’m serious, get a gun, get more than one, and keep one with you at all times.
Even the FBI has released a statement concerning the violence expected to come:
According to ABC:
The announcement of the grand jury’s decision… will likely be exploited by some individuals to justify threats and attacks against law enforcement and critical infrastructure,” the FBI says in an intelligence bulletin issued in recent days.
“This also poses a threat to those civilians engaged in lawful or otherwise constitutionally protected activities.”
Those infiltrating and exploiting otherwise legitimate public demonstrations with the intent to incite and engage in violence could be armed…
The FBI bulletin expresses concern only over those who would exploit peaceful protests, not the masses of demonstrators who will want to legitimately, lawfully, and collectively express their views on the grand jury’s decision.
The bulletin “stresses the importance of remaining aware of the protections afforded to all U.S. persons exercising their First Amendment rights of freedom of speech and freedom of assembly.”
And this is the America we live in now.
What you’re seeing taking place in Ferguson wouldn’t be nearly as much of an issue if the mainstream media and the Democrats would quit playing the story up.
They’ve been using Ferguson as a hot button issue to create an ever widening divide in the nation.
The schism would heal if justice was allowed to take place free from the glaring lenses of cameras and free from the meddling of the Obama administration.
It’s likely that this story will be repeated in towns across the U.S. as this manufactured race war grows worse.
That, combined with the actions of Muslims who are trying to use Ferguson as a prop to get anti-terrorism laws reversed, and you’re staring down a raging bull.
Do what you can to prepare for riots on the street.
