Sheriff Joe has taken to his Facebook page to refute the Obama administration’s claims that the 2,200 illegals the president has released only had minor crimes on their records, making their release acceptable. The real number? 4,000. When should releasing illegals back onto American soil be allowed? Never.
A news release issued by Sheriff Joe through his Sheriff’s Office in Maricopa County eviscerates the lies peddled by Obama concerning illegals in this country, with the headline reading, “Sheriff Joe Arpaio demands federal government to stop releasing criminal aliens in Maricopa County.” The sheriff has been on the frontlines of the immigration battle for years, and been specifically targeted by Obama and the media in attempt to silence him and ruin his credibility.
Sheriff Joe’s news release exposes the administration’s refusal to deport illegals with criminal records, citing his own county’s crime statistics. Over 33% of illegals arrested in his jurisdiction are repeat offenders, lawbreakers who should have already been deported. The sheriff calls release of these criminals back onto the streets “backdoor amnesty,” and accuses Obama and his cronies of following their own political agenda, which includes widespread amnesty, instead of doing what is right by the American people.
In the release the sheriff states, “The law is being flouted by both the federal government and local law enforcement… Deport illegal aliens, and especially criminal aliens, and secure the border so we make sure they don’t come back.”
How many more stories of murder by criminal illegals must be written? How many more families destroyed by people who have come into this country illegally and been allowed to stay despite their criminal past? All Sheriff Joe has asked is that Obama follow the rule of law and secure the border, something the president has routinely shown he is loath to do. Any crimes committed by these thugs against Americans are the fault of Obama and Eric Holder, who refuse to protect this nation from the illegal alien menace sitting on our doorstep.
